Contents: The China Shanghai International Arts Festival has always followed a policy of ‘Arts and culture, public sharing,’ turning this arts festival into an artistic pageant, a festival for the people. The Mass Cultural Activities, which are rich, varied and lively, have put up a platform for displaying art to, and gaining appreciation from, the general public. For a decade, the Mass Cultural Activities has been held, with 600 exhibits in evidence this year and1600 artistic communities represented in stage performances which attracted more than 13 million viewers. Meanwhile, the Mass Cultural Activities has also been an important stage for members of the public to participate in the arts festival and show their own style. Over 15,000 ‘People Performers’ appeared on stage, creating a distinctive landscape as part of the festival. |
