The show portrays the history of world fairs, China's participation in the event and the Expo's master plan among others. It will later be shown at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, Toronto's City Hall and Niagara Falls.
The organizer also promoted Expo 2010's ticket sales at the ceremony and granted a plaque to Canada-based Tianbao Travel Ltd to handle ticket sales in the country.
Canada was among the first batch of countries that confirmed participation in the Expo and one of the first to sign a participation contract and begin construction of its self-built pavilion.
The organizer looks forward to Canada's amazing exhibition at the Expo, said Yang Xiong, member of the Organizing Committee of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai, executive deputy director of the Executive Committee of the Expo, and Shanghai executive vice mayor.
